Happy New Year!
I hope you and your family/friends had a wonderful holiday! It is great to be back at school, working with our wonderful staff/students/parents again.
As the New Year begins, we are looking at an exciting 2026. This year, our fundraising dollars will be going towards upgrading our small play structure with a bridge, etc. Plans are being drawn up as this is written. This year we will also see preparations underway to expand classes to grade 6 next year. (We are planning the location for 2 new huts this week!) We will also host a Spring concert event later this year for the grade 3-5 students. The list could go on. In my opinion, it is an exciting time to be the principal of South Oaks School these days.
I wish everyone the best possible year ahead. Challenges will come (they always do), but together we can work through the challenges and keep aiming for what is best for our students/kids. Have a great January!
