Each year at this time, South Oaks students enjoy a Bike Rodeo put on by MPI. This is an important review for students to remember guidelines for riding their bikes safely. Due to the pandemic, we are not able to host the usual event. However, MPI has produced a very helpful page to review safety tips for young bike riders. Please have a look HERE .

South Oaks now has a subscription to two excellent online educational resources. Tumblebooks is an online reading service that offers a huge variety of books to read, listen to, and interact with. We highly recommend this service for regular reading practice, especially during the time that students will be learning from home. TumbleMath is a related service that uses children’s stories to teach & practice math. Enjoy the story, practice the idea, try the quiz!
